ISRD2018 : International Symposium on Radiation Detectors and Their Uses

We are pleased to announce that the International Symposium on Radiation Detectors and Their Uses ISRD2018 will be held on January 23 to 26, 2018, at the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK), Tsukuba, Japan. ISRD2018 is the second international symposium following ISRD2016, which was held as the 30th jubilee of the Workshop on Radiation Detectors and Their Uses under the promotion of KEK and the Ionizing Radiation Division of Japanese Society of Applied Physics. ISRD2018 will be an ideal forum for participants from academia and industry active in the field related to radiation detectors and their applications.

ISRD2018 will address the following topics:

-Basic Process of Radiation Detector

-Gas-filled Detector

-Scintillators and Scintillation Detectors (including Photodetectors)

-Semiconductor Detectors: Materials and Devices

-Neutron Detectors and Instrumentation

-High Energy and Nuclear Physics Instrumentation

-Imaging Systems for Medical, Non-destructive Testing, and Other Uses

-Radioactivity Measurements and Dose Evaluations

-Environmental Radiations (including topics in space and in Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant Accident)

Publications

The papers accepted by ISRD2018 after peer-review process will be published in an academic journal by an international publisher.

Submission

Abstract submission:

An abstract written in English can be submitted at http://www-conf.kek.jp/ISRD2018 due to 6th October, 2017. The length must be no more than 400 words.

Paper submission:

A paper for the proceedings should be submitted due to 31st January, 2018. All submitted papers will be reviewed on the basis of scientific significance, novelty and practical application.
